June 2013- Present

Duties included: Reviewing and implementing designs for Google fiber-hoods, businesses, entrances into Government/ business buildings, and in charge of overall design and planning in KC metro. Review of change orders and design changes for all of KC metro. Speak on Google Fiber’s behalf at city and county meetings. Google Fiber’s point of contact, face of the local company, for meet and greets with city officials. Secondary point of contact for all construction questions and issues.

 

Mid-States Consultants- Construction Inspector- Artesia, NM

Preparation of daily progress reports, accounting of fiber placed, construction units placed and overall inspection of construction job from origination to completion and turn over to Telco Owner. Within 6 months was promoted to being in charge of all business installs in NE Arkansas division along with managing any and all drops services for NE Arkansas division. Manage the OTN rehab project (Building renovation/ Demolition and Construction). Oversee the rehabilitation and construction of new towers in the NEA division. Be a subject matter expert in all OSP meetings and reviews. Manage bids and contracts for NEA division. Act as the liaison between Executive management and contractors. Taught novice engineers how to become seasoned engineers teaching basic engineering principles and mentoring subordinates on a daily basis.

Oversee all construction work performed by contractors for all of Southern Wyoming. Oversee all buried service wire for the same areas. Managed all bid contracts and performed field inspections prior to approving payments. Inspect and approve all construction contracts and work orders.

Report to project manager on a daily basis. Perform fiber optic engineering with no supervision from AT&T. Designed CO to CO fiber, BICS fiber for businesses also designed remote pads and fiber routes to feed the remotes.
